    James DeGale vs. Adonis Stevenson.

What if DeGale moves up to 175 and fights Stevenson for the lineal title. Do you think he could win?

I rate DeGale highly but Stevenson hits like a mofo and asking Degale to move up and fight one of the top two at LHW is a big ask.

I think so. He'd outbox Stevenson no problem imo.

I think Stevenson is just a big, quick left hand. I'd favour plenty of guys over Stevenson including Degale.

No and this is coming from someone who has backed DeGale for years and I've been a fan too.

Chunky has the skills and the handspeed but his engine is crap and he gives away the middle rounds time after time after time. Against someone so muscular and strong as Stevenson, who can attack opponents when they are idle and really hurt them, DeGale would suffer badly.

Stevenson is one of the very best fighters on the planet at the moment, a bit forgotten this year but he has power and very good reflexes for someone so old. Chunky can't cope with that.

Stevenson for me is technically a better professional fighter, he is more poised and is better at distance. Degale has proved though that he has game changing power, strangely considering his technique can be sloppy. I thought Dirrel was the better fighter in that fight but Degale's power changed the complexion of the fight and wrestled back momentum at crucial points and allowed him to pull out the win.

I think if they fought today I would bet on Stevenson, but with a bit more experienced and Stevenson most likely now over the hill, Degale will soon move ahead. I am looking forward to Jack-Degale to be honest. I think that is a good competitive fight.

Yeh he could easily win. Take away Stevenson's left hand and he doesn't have a whole lot else. Easier said that done of course.

No. He punches too wide and leaves himself open. Stevenson is an accurate puncher and a sharp shooter. Stevenson only needs one or two flush shots to end the fight. He will take advantages of openings and knock Degale out. Degale has only a small puncher's chance to win in my opinion.
