Julio Ceja (30-1, 27KOs) returned to training last week, after relaxing for a few weeks following his dramatic signature win of the interim-WBC super bantamweight championship with a trilling knockout of Hugo "Cuatito" Ruiz in fifth round of their August 29th war at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Under orders from his coach Augustine Luna, Ceja started getting his body in shape.
Ceja and his team are waiting for the official word from Leo Santa Cruz, who holds the full WBC title at super bantam. Santa Cruz fought Abner Mares in the main event when Ceja captured his belt.
