  • Comments Thread For: Matthysse-Postol: Judging Could Be Key in The Fight

Lucas Matthysse and Victor Postol do battle on Saturday night at the StubHub Center for the vacant WBC super lightweight title. In a fight of such magnitude judging will be key. The last time Vadim Kornilov - who manages Postol - was involved in a major fight at this venue, his other client Ruslan Provodnikov was losing a close and debated decision to Tim Bradley in 2013.

Don't use the race/nationality card, Lucas has already been robbed twice. If you lose a decision, take it on the chin and don't act like you won.

Idk what hes worrying for, Bobs got this...itll be easier to make a PacPostal(In House) than itll be for a PacLucas bout.

Nah it won't go to the scorecards.
Postol is a solid fighter but Matthysse is better and will KO him.
Only fighters Matthysse didn't KD-d at least are Provo and Danny Garcia. Bot have concrete chins. Postol'sonly chance if his chin is from concrete too because otherwise he will eventually get caught. And even if he won't ge kayoed, Matthysse is a solid fighter. I think he beat Devon and Judah on points too but the judges robbed him/saw otherwise. He lost to Danny legitimately though but he wasn't bad on that fight.

people need to realize (to expand on your point), Lucas was the B-side in both those fights. Judah and Alexander both entered the ring last, and both were the house fighter. Ruslan was also the house fighter. Lucas was lucky he managed that MD vs Ruslan as Ruslan had the HBO contract, I'm guessing HBO has options on Lucas now
