Comments Thread For: Gradovich Eyes Move To 122, Rules Out Walters Bout

As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum said he was interested in making a battle of former world featherweight champions, with 29-year-old Evgeny Gradovich of Russia going up against 29-year-old Nicholas Walters of Jamaica on December 12 in an HBO televised fight.

So Bob Arum was going to sacrifice Gradovich, a small featherweight, to the much bigger Walters at 130, but thankfully he has a good manager in Egis Klimas who looks out for his best interests.

Gradovich will do well at super bantamweight.

130 lbs to start with. Walters will never make 126 again, but he likes fighting smaller guys. Walters is looking kind of weak picking on smaller fighters. He needs to step up, quit acting like Baby Huey.

I highly doubt Gradovich can make 122. If somehow he manages to make weight, he's gonna be a huge super bantamweight because he reportedly rehydrates up to 140-143 on fight night.

and as u say that about walter...the bum u're trying to save is trying to drop to 122 after rehydrating close to 140 when getting ****** by selby...

to say never make again after being 1lb over after a year layoff and sickness is just a stretch...more than likely u are a lomo protector as well
