Out of the 3 he really only showed power. Its pretty easy to roll under a mit when you know it's coming and his punches and feet looked like he was under water.

Canelo is a Big fish in a little Pond

He was working with a trainer. Hardly showing us anything. All he's ever shown us is that most of the time when he outweighs his opponent by 15 pounds, he wins easily. However, anyone close to his size, they claim is too big.

Many fighters could drain to take on smaller dudes, and those that do are cheapening the sport.

He constantly drains 20 pounds to fight in a weight division below where he should gets little respect for me. Most of the props Canelo gets is from what he is made out to be. He's had some decent fights, and looked bad in all of them.

Lara, a much smaller fighter, was able to at least make it a fight, if not a draw or even beat him. Canelo got the benefit of the doubt.

                Kirkland was a joke.

Now Canelo is gonna fight at MW (where he should be), but it's not a MW he is fighting. He basically wants to get the MW belt without having to fight someone close to his size.

I'd be fine with that if he'd just keep his agreement to fight the real beast of the MW, but that isn't what his promoter seems to be laying the groundwork for.

All this talk about Canelo can still make 154 is what shows me the kid isn't that good. Many fighters can drain down 20 pounds, then put it back on and fights small dudes. GGG came in at 157 last fight.

Now if GGG did what Canelo is doing, he'd have the haters in an uproar.

Anyone Canelo fights at 154 is overmatched by his fight night size of 175.

He gets this belt, and then refuses to fight GGG, or vacates, it will prove all along he and Goldenboy are phonies who want to use politics in the same way Floyd has.

                Same game.

Worse part is they are holding up the true MW champion in the process. He can't unify as long as the lineal champ keeps ducking this mandatory.

Canelo fans will say but he is only 25. Well he has 40+ professional fights and claims to be one of the best.

Then prove it, don't duck the mandatory.

Like I said before this is very poor training. Practicing in spurts, Canelo throws a couple of shots then he rests for 30 sec. There's a longer video on youtube. They post these short videos to make it seem like hes at the end, but he's not. I have never seen a boxer train like this, every boxer I've seen training are in constant motion. So if your not throwing punches then your moving, and bouncing. Also when a boxer and trainer go to the mits, it's usually for a few 3 minute rounds. Canelo takes these 30 second brakes on everything he does. I'm not sure if Roach was right when he said Canelo was lazy, or is it the corner? I know the corner sucks because who develops a game plan to out box Mayweather? If Canelo isn't able to push himself, then he needs a corner that will.

Cotto can't take too many of those body shots.
