    What is Richard Steele's Deal

    It just seems like hes ****ed up so much like last night
    chavez vs taylor
    and i just finished watching toney vs jones again and you see close to the end of round 8 he tries to send the fighters to their corners because for some reason he thinks the rounds over

        It is not an easy job and you will never make everybody happy, never. I say he does a hell of a job. Cant comment on the recent fight but I have always respected him.

          The guy was one of the top refs in boxing for awhile. He made some mistakes, but the kind of hate he gets should be reserved for a true ref ****-up, like Arthur Mercante Jr.

          And the Chavez-Taylor stoppage was debatable.

              Actually I think the understatement of the century is saying Leonard-Hagler was debatable. That fight and the Chavez-Taylor arguments can go on forever.

              I like Taylor, but it would've been nice if he'd looked at Steele and verbally responded, or give a bigger nod.

              That damn fat ass Duva had to distract him.
