dear lord look at seal's record! fought nothing but bums and he's only been fighting 6 rounders. pbc is a joke. they are trying to hype edwin rodriguez up by giving him easy fights. when will it stop.

Only thing i hate is that Spike broadcast is late on westcoast. Sucks when you already can find out winner.

their putting a taller undefeated longer bigger black fighter in with edwin...i think al did this smelling upset and new face...

he's done it a few times...just bc we dont know them dont mean they havent been doing things in the gym showing that they are better...

edwin doesnt really need hype he only lost to ward while everyone else ducked him..

staying in shape should be all he's worried about

i dont growl bc they have so many dates..and promoters suing them instead of working with them..they would house all, but others dont want to be housed...but i see this happening...think this is a guy that got some gym respect and he's going to make his name off edwin...

he's 33 al told him look sink or swim..if he sinks he'll be an opponent for up and comers if he swims...beterbiev and stevenson await

Rofl gtf outta here. PBC is not about finding "new faces," it's about finding nobodies with deceptively good records (because they've been fighting cans) and sacrificing them to bigger named fighters rather than have the bigger named guys fight each other. Often these sacrificial lambs are made to jump up a weight class or two, or meet at a catchweight that benefits the name fighter. And the commentators, ref, judges etc. are typically in favor of the name guy as well.

PBC is absolute, undiluted trash. The only reason we ever get a Thurman/Porter or a Santa Cruz/Mares is because they need an occasional fight to silence the ever-growing skepticism of the thinking fans.
