Canelo has to drain 20 pounds to make weight

he is by far a MW. He'll probably beat Cotto, then be the coward he is and refuse to fight someone his size. He'll vacate the belt, and deceive loyal fans that won't admit he is draining to fight guys smaller than him.

Beating Cotto will be an ok win, but Cotto isn't the best MW, so it tells us very little about who the Red Head really is.

You're right about him being a MW. He's been squeezing down to that 154 limit for a while and it's apparent he can't make it anymore without killing himself, hence the 155 catchweights recently.

I just hope the winner here either fights GGG or vacates. If the winner happens to be Cotto, I hope he just vacates and moves down to 154. He has no business at 160, especially against the likes of GGG.

Talking about cowards let's not forget little G after saying he'll fight anyone from 154 to 168 lbs then cowards when Ward takes his challenge is the biggest punk move you could do, lol. Homers like you will always justify a way for Lil G not to fight Ward a fighter that would actually take his zero and the hype that around him but in sure you got a good excuse for him like always...

He cant be killing himself that much, hes the main draw and if he really had so much trouble at 154, he would make his catchweights at something higher like 157. His opponents would be more than willing to go higher for the pay check.

He will fight anyone not named Ward from 154-168, that is still like 99.999% of all fighters out there, so little G is like 99.999% G. Chavez and Froch can come get some at 168 anytime they want.

Who's the main draw? Canelo wanted a catch weight of 157 and Cotto said no it'll be 155. The fights happening at a catch weight of 155 like Cotto wanted. Canelo really didn't call any shots here.

Also Canelo does look sunk in, which is a good indication that a person has lost a large amount of weight, and for a boxer it usually reveals that he is too big for that weight. I can see it already, if Canelo looses people here will start saying he was drained.

I agree! GGG had his chance to shine, but he feared the son of God!

Canelo will drag Cotto into deep waters. It's gonna get ugly.

He doesn't want to go that high because he still considers himself as a junior middleweight and plans to continue to campaign there (though that could change should he beat Cotto).

You can tell he squeezes down to make weight during the weigh ins and he rehydrates into the 170s. I think for the Angulo fight, he went up to 174, 19 lbs overnight.
