I'm from Ponce, born and raised, ask the mods to check my IP. I can take photos to prove it, plus I have numerous photos-videos of fights/press conferences I have gone to (Juanma-Salido II, Rocky-Salido, Danny Garcia-Herrera etc). But that's really beside the point. I am not your typical Rican though, I am from the americanized/modern sector. I don't watch local channels, neither am I connected to our culture much, that's why its easy for me to not feel attachment to the roots. I look more european than your typical PRican as well.

The jibaros here are the only ones who don't know how to speak english. Most educated people know english to some extent, at least at my college (Sagrado). I don't know about the UPR because all the broke jibaros end up there.

I would take a knee in front of Cotto for the lolz and then knock him the **** out Marquez style if he gets ******.

Because he is an arrogant douchebag. He acts like a total diva in public. I have seen people ask him for photos and he straight up looks at them and keeps walking away. And being a little bish ass coward doesn't help either.

Tito on the other hand, is the people's champ. He loves spending time with people. After the second Juanma-Salido fight, was taking pics with everybody, sharing laughs and stories with all the fans around him. Juanma is just like him as well, both very humble and down to earth.

I used to be a Cotto fan regardless but his diva ways are too much.
Nuff said, thanks for the info. I had a different perception of him based on his willingness to fight anyone and his interviews. Never knew he was an a**hole in real life.

I went to a fight in Salinas back in 2007, his brother was fighting and Evangelista was working the corner. Miguel got up in one round, went up to the corner and started cursing and pushing his uncle Evangelista in front of everyone. His uncle stood up for himself and his brother had to separate them / calm them instead of resting.

AGAIN, I ignored all of this bc I dont care about fighters personal lives but his diva ways also show inside the sport. Look for my posts from a year ago, I used to be a big fan. But his diva attitude towards EVERYTHING is irritating.

Take a picture at the Don Q factory with a local newspaper from the day you take the pic.

upr mayaguez is a pretty good school. NASA hires most of their engineers from there

I'll be in the pr December 26-Jan 9. I'll stop by the Don q factory. I'll be in barranquitas for the most part. So I'll be able to take a picture you my damn self lol

But I do t want to wait that long post the pic ASAP.

BTW, I do support SOME PRican fighters like Juanma. Juanma will always have my support, I love the guy. One of the nicest people you will meet, and the fact that he has ALWAYS been a warrior in the ring, regardless of the outcome, makes me respect him that much more.

I went to the Danny Garcia-Herrera press conference and he entered the hotel thru the lobby while everyone else entered thru the back. He let go of his gf/wife and SHOOK EVERYONES hand waiting for the doors to open (his wife was a diva though lol, she acted like she was the celebrity).

Verdejo reminds me of Tito as well, I like him so far.

ANOTHER PRican fighter I DO NOT LIKE is Wilfredo Vazquez, he is a little punk beach as well. He has some gang friends and thinks he is some badass ganglord himself. He insulted/disrespected Juanma horribly and even threatened to kill him:

Had that fight happened, there would have been a shootout in the crowd because I believe PRicans would have been very divided and heated that night.
