If Gavin had ever showed the attitude and dedication that Eggington possesses he'd have boxed at 140, max, maybe 135 through his career and with his natural ability perhaps been a player on the world stage. Frankie just never had that core desire. But he does have what may be a last chance here to stay relevant at domestic and Euro level. Although a half hearted effort will likely see him get rolled over, a properly committed Gavin has enough smarts to put a brake on the youngster's progress.
