Comments Thread For: Viloria: A Win Over Gonzalez Will Help Propel My Legacy

Brian Viloria has never needed much motivation to take on the best fighters in the lower weight classes. The resilient former two-division champ has rebounded from his last loss – a 12-round decision to Juan Francisco Estrada in April ’13 to end his run as a unified flyweight titlist – to win four straight. His current run was enough to command the attention of World flyweight champion Roman ‘Chocolatito’ Gonzalez, whom he will face on October 17 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Viloria does not have the talent and the skills and the discipline to dethrone Gonzalez. That is from someone who wants Viloria to win.

Go for it Brian! The little Hawaiian Punch that could!

If he can learn from watching Gonzalez vs takayama, lots of mobility gave Gonzalez a hard time!

i hope viloria wins, i know he'd defend those belts against Gallo Estrada to unify the whole division, i don't think Roman's people want to put him in that fight with Gallo either yet or ever again and if they do it'd be at 115, TeamViloria!!!!

Viloria should have lost to Aguirre too, that was a blatant robbery.

Anyway i give Viloria good chance here.

Viloria is an interesting fighter. He can beat anyone and also lose to anyone.
