he's going to be pressed for competition since he is with roc nation and not haymon..so u're right he just needs to fight anyone and stay at 168 instead of going up just yet...

i'm sorry i thought u were a hardcore fan and not a excuse making finger pointing "but ward did this" fan boy

my god one fight above 168..im sure the only fight he wants to take at 168 is ggg...no other name since he cant get the haymon guys are worth dropping weight for likely, ward has never missed a weight he is scheduled to make and 30 day weigh ins would make him be on weight or get fined..

and yes he should target kovalev next if he gets by ggg..no doubt about it

I think a couple weeks ago they said 150k buys would be the break even point, and everything above it is a bonus. Its the first PPV for both of them so i think 250-300k would really be a great number.

Anyway can't wait for this card to finally happen, both GGG vs Lemieux and Gonzales vs Viloria will be fireworks.

150k buys doesnt seem like they could even please the cable company to host their next event

Well, I do not think Mayweather is fighting for 2 mil.$. If you have a fighter who fights 30+ mil $ per fight you need at least 700K ppv orders just to cover Mayweather demands. Myaweather guaranteed fee was 32 mil, Berto 4m.

That was the reason they needed 1M+ to earn some money.

It is not hypocritical, just basic knowledge of business. If you invest more money than you are earning, than it is a FLOP. (Not for May and Berto to be clear)

Well when you use math, when one guy is getting 32 million guarantee, the other 4 million and the rest of the card getting what... maybe a million overall... expectations in revenue are slightly different.

I doubt the October card is splitting 37 million, but i don't know...maybe they are

i didnt just trying think of a realistic number in my head that would be considered a success. i was thinking little less then pac algeiri. the one thing it has going for it is its little cheaper then normal and there is a demand for action fights. who knows tho i was thinking 350 have u heard it might be more? the more the better i hope its up in the 600k range just not sure if thats realistic
