The guy is 31 years old and hasn't lost since he was 12-13.....Lil G is older with more fights with a resume that's not even in the same galaxy let alone same page.....he didn't take time off, he had injuries, a surgery, and managerial issues, doesn't mean he is a different fighter or what he did never happened.....also with the head to head win, not needing 2 fights to beat Froch and hardly ever losing rounds against elite comp puts him above Froch, and on another level altogether of GGG
    .

Wins over Froch, Dawson, Kessler, Edison Miranda, Arthur Abraham, Sakio Bika, Allan Green makes GGG resume look like a prospect resume lol

Froch has probably never heard of Rigondeaux then.

Ward's only notable wins are Kessler and Froch which are big wins, but again, nothing compared to Froch's.
Geale had already lost to Mundine and Barker. He was promptly knocked out by a JMW after Golovkin.

Martin Murray has never beaten a soul, his claim to fame is two close fights he didn't win.

So that leaves Golovkin with... well... NOTHING! See how easy that is?

Ward gave Froch a very tough but competitive fight that Ward won.

GGG made Froch literally shook and retire, he was so scared that he rather retired than making a couple million $ because he knew he was going to take the beating of his life.

Of course Froch tries to downplay GGG since he wants to keep the myth alife that he is too big / too strong for GGG.

Yet when it was time to accept Ggg as an opponent on Frochs home turf, he was saying this

“Just swerve Golovkin like the plague. He punches like a mule. I don’t need to be in with him. Dangerous fight.”

"It was tongue in cheek back then. I was being a bit cheeky and you can take those comments with a pinch of salt. What I will say though is this guy can ****ing punch: he's dangerous and if he can be avoided we'll avoid him. I'll stand by that and I don't give a ****.

Geale had only lost by split decision before running into Golovkin and being sparked in 3. Losing close decisions have less of an effect than being beaten into submission or waking up looking at the lights. Why obviously Cotto's win over Geale won't be considered as good.

Murray also had only lost close decisions, always contested with the best of'em at middleweight, until he ran into Golovkin, dropped thrice and stopped.

But I don't know why we're having this conversation, Ward's resume is obviously better, I have not stated otherwise. But Ward was lucky with the tournament, lets not pretend like Golovkin wouldn't jump at the opportunity to join such a tournament and he'd most definitely actually travel.

                This.

Claims he is 'too big too strong' for Golovkin. GGG accepts his challenge,
                Froch hastily retires.

The guy he ducked is a bum, the guy who schooled his @$$ is the GOAT.

Grouch resume is only considered good because of his skill level.

Let GGG fight all those same guys at the same time Froch did and I bet he wouldn't get half as much credit after knocking them all out.

Some how Geale and Murray are bums when one Was a unified champion and the other should have been lineal.

But guys like Abraham, Bika, Dirrel, and Bute are murders row when they're not even as accomplished as Geale.

Face facts the most accomplish guy Froch beat is Pascal (who isn't much better than Murray) and that was before he won the title.
