Ward hasn't done anything in a few years, no matter how good is he or if it's his fault or not.

I fully expect him to beat the top names around him and be at the top but beating Paul Smith in your first fight in 2 years isn't worthy of p4p top 10. Having great skills in theory is meaningless if they're not put into reality in the ring, which he hasn't done for a long time.

How is it so hard to understand for GGG fans (I'm one myself) that it does not matter, that he KO'd 1000 unknown foes and 3-4 ok names. He needs some great names to make him viable for a crack at the top 10. Maybe he deserves to be there, but he needs to prove it first, for us sceptiks.

Put it this way, Ward is a better fighter than Golovkin, and would likely beat him based on styles/levels..... if the fight got made tomorrow, Ward would be the betting favorite..... so I got no problem at all with Ward being ranked ahead of him P4P.

What criteria could possibly justify ranking Golovkin higher than Pacquiao ?

Divisional supremacy? Maybe.....

..... but if that is the case, then how could you possibly have Pacquiao on a P4P list? When has Pacquiao ever dominated a division? He has never been the best welter, in fact he hardly fought any of the top welters. He only fought Hatton at 140. Only Diaz at lightweight.

And if it is a combination of both, then how could Golovkin be rated higher than Klitschko?

thats because they are in different divisions. if ward-kovalev got made tomorrow, kovalev would be the betting favorite so by your own system kovalev should be above ward
