I was really impressed by Diaz. Cotto did good, but this fight showed me that Evangelista Cotto (Miguel and Jose uncle/trainer) aint that good of a trainer...Top Rank should get Miguel a top trainer in his corner...

I was also impressed by Diaz. Seen him a few times already and the kid can fight for days and never really appears to lose that pop and quickness in his punches. Yes, he doesnt have great power but he hits solid and throws fluid combos.

Cotto through a lot of leather but most of his shots were blocked, deflected or dodged. Remember he is only 22 years old and has growing left.

I don't like Diaz, but to say he sucks would be ignorant. He's a good fighter who I hope gets knocked out soon.

he needs to fight the winner of raheem/freitas. I dont think he has a chance vs corrales or castillo

but he is a exciting fighter

Juan is an underrated fighter. He is a swarming work rate kind of fighter, but easy to hit. Cotto fought the wrong style. He should have been more patient since Cotto is easy to hit, but maybe his braintrust thought they could whack out BabyBull early.

I have always been a fan of the guy. Hes a good person and a fine fighter with an exciting style. He needs to fight the winner of raheem freitas and who ever wins that fight will loose to diaz. The man has some of the best skills in boxing he throws an lands a lot of punches and most importantly stays true to his style I do not belive he can beat casitlo but I think he could easily out box corralis and diaz and hatton would be nothing but a blur of punches till the fight ended. Also he has never lost and is 22 and a champion this guy has at least 10 more years in the game. Man if he only had power he would be p4p

That wouldn't have helped him. Diaz was outjabbing him viciously. I think if he wanted to Diaz could of just won with the jab. Cotto was getting beat up from the outside and the inside.
