Mayweather didn't low blow Gatti, he held him behind the head and then hit him twice. Gatti should've remembered to protect himself at all times though.

I'm not debating the low blow I'm debating Rogers reaction to it. Yes, it was low yes it was bad but so were things done in many fights. Roger is an ex-fighter he should know better than most. There were undoubtly low blows in the Hatton vs Tzu fight along with some pretty rough house tactics in that fight. Hatton thought that he was being hit low and he just returned it in kind.

Once again I'm not talking about the low blow just ROGERS REACTION TO IT, please read carefully before posting.

Mayweather did hit Gatti low during the fight but it wasn't intentional. Gatti also landed a couple of lowblows on Mayweather during that fight.

I agree that Roger shouldnt have jumped in the ring but this was a completley different situation then the Gatti fight. The Gatti fight was early in the Action, Floyd was clearly better from the start, and it was unintentional. Hatton's low blow may have been bad but he wasnt in trouble, he was winning and he just does that some anyway. Zab's low blow was like the Tyson bite. He knew he wasnt going to win, got frustrated by Floyd killing him, it was late in the fight, it was clearly intentional and then he followed up with a rabbit punch.

Judah, on the other hand, uppercutted Floyd's nutsack and followed with a rabbit punch (probably the most dangerous foul).
exactly...floyd didnt low blow gatti in that situation, and left2thebody, if your a floyd fan, id reccomend watching all his (or at least his big fights) before commenting on him

Nobody is arguing with you that Roger's reaction was wrong. People are arguing with your ridiculous comparison to what happened in the first round of the Mayweather-Gatti fight.

Not really, he just remembers Gatti vs Mayweather wrong thats all. Like posted Mayweather held his head with his forearm, they backed apart and while doing so he hit him with a left hook. Gatti go mad look to the ref then got hit with a right hook. Zab threw an intenional low blow, followed by (as said before prob the most dangerous thing in boxing, aside from something outrageous) a rabbit punch. Rabbit punches have been the cause of various boxers to suffer brain damage or similar things. That being said what Roger did was not acceptable, but if you read my other posts (theres so many threads on this) if Zab never hunted him down, it wouldnt have gotten as big as it did. Either way both are at fault and had the ref said something about the low blow / rabbit punch combo, I dunno if Roger would have jumped in.
