First and foremost I got more respect for Canelo than GGG any day. The thing is Canelo dared to be great against Mayweather and now Cotto and faced Trout and Lara two boxers that where horrible style match wise for him. In the other hand GGG fighting bums like Monroe and Macklin instead of facing a boxer like Lara who would give him fits with his movement or fighting Ward that would solify his status as a pound for pound fighter if he beat him. Once Canelo done with Cotto there's no way he'll fight GGG next is a ****** move, he'll be the new king of PPV after Nov.21. I see him dropping the title and facing either Lemieux, Tureano, or Ogogo maybe Lee... he has plenty of choices not name Golovkin. if im Oscar I tell K2 that if they want Canelo then GGG has to fight Ward first if not then forget it Canelo doesn't need GGG is the other way around.

How does facing Ward make any sense as a precursor to fighting Canelo? GGG needs to fight (and beat) Quillin and Lee before Ward. Ward is in another division.

That's like saying that Rigondeau or Carl Frampton has to take on Nicholas Walters or Santa-Cruz before facing each other.
