By the way, when did Dehaupas hurt Wilder? I don't remember that ever happening, unless swollen eye = hurt wilder, coz Wilder's legs never wobbled under any punch that Duhaupas landed.
He was still standing simply because Wilder's power is overrated.

Nah, Duhaupas had never been stopped before Sat. And he's been in there against guys like Teper (who just retired David Price) who have legit power. Guy just has a granite chin, that's why Team Wilder picked him..

I think Wilder will just sit back and pop him from the inside. He does that, he wins in a walk

povetkin is going to beat wilder.

i'm starting to think that deontay started boxing too late. he's just never made that next step. compared to the rest of the division, he's a great talent. it's he, joshua, and klitschko. he's not taking the next step. maybe he just needs more time.

fighting povetkin isn't what deontay wilder needs if he's goign to get better. he'll lose this fight, and probably take a bit of a beating doing it. i don't htink his people will take the fight.

Povetkin having the better chin, but Wilder having the better reach.
That Povetkin has a "better chin" is debatable. Wlad was ragdolling him around the ring and I've seen him rocked several times

Before Wlad, Povetkin never been brutalized like that. what's still amazing was he went 12, he didn't stop.. so much heart the man has

I doubt Wilder can KO povetkin, he might win on points.. if he doesn't leave himself open

Wilder will win on points and hits just as hard as Wlad. Povetkin is in for a horrific beating against Deontay. I'd say Stiverne hits harder than Sasha and he didn't even bother Wilder..

You mean someone actually knocked out David Price, once again? Wow, that sure is news worthy.

I believe that they picked the French dude simply because he had little to no chance of winning. So, I say it again I believe Wilder's power is overrated and as his level of competition has moved slightly up his fights have gone longer.

The reason I believe that its overrated is because he wings his power punches. Even that slow a$$ dude could see many of them coming and easily moved out of the way of many of them. Honestly, I believe who ever was counting the landed punches was giving Wilder a little to much credit.

Even the stoppage was due to the dude taking to many shots and he honestly never once looked all that hurt. Wilder also looked rather amateurish when he was leaping off the mat and throwing punches.

So once again I clearly understand why his handlers have decided to stear him clear of any real legit threat to his PBC title.
