this is so true about expectations. i wouldn't say pac chose to box and counter. that's just the way he fights now. also the reason floyd finally accepted the fight but still pac was landing the cleaner and harder shots from the outside. for example in rounds 6-10 a lot of people give most of those rounds to floyd because they were slow methodical rounds. not sure why floyd wins them by default. shouldn't the person landing better punches win? giving a guy a round because "hes in control" or "he's fighting his fight" is the definition of bias.

I dont think any real fans think that , Maidana bum rushed and tried to make it a messy wrestling match , it looks like he is doing good but he isnt , he is smothering himself because he does not want to give Floyd any room when he did in the second fight he got his ears boxed off .
The trouble with you people is 2 fold , firstly you dont understand boxing deeply only on the surface , and secondly you try too hard to hate on Mayweather instead of giving him his dues , it only makes you look like a whiny cry baby .Comment

agreed but u can get schooled and get benefit of the doubt on few roundsWhen it comes to decisions
White washing your opponent
Schooling your opponent
Winning a competitive fight
And winning a close fight that could have went either way.
And getting robbed in a fight you should have won.
You hear fans say he was schooled-but the fight ended in a 8-4 result. Which means if the loser wins two more rounds in that fight its a draw.
Here is how I see it
Whitewash-12-0 or 11-1 example-kovalev/bhop
Or rigo/donaire
Schooled- 10-2 lomachenko/Russell only losing rounds cause you take a round off.
Winning a competitive 9-3 or 8-4 mathysse/provodnikov
Winning a close fight that could have gone either way - 7-5 or 6-6. Maidana/Floyd 1
Getting robbed-castillo/Floyd 1
