ward's the slickest fighter in all of boxing. the way he has avoided the best for the last 4 years and still kept any fans is amazing. don't worry though when he finally does get in the ring his fights are entertainment gold and well worth the wait.

He's a gold medalist, he's a religious guy just like Pac (lol) people claimed to hate floyd because of his mouth and flossing his wealth, Ward does none of this and people hate him, which is curious in and of itself, Ward doesnt talk trash, and certain people still hate, but they loved this about pac. Ward is a family man who hold himself to a higher level, but some people hate this. Ward won the super six and has been undefeated since he was 12, he's a winner. People wanted floyd to move up and fight canelo, but dont want lil g to move up and fight ward. Basically every reason a lot of you claimed to hate floyd for, ward is the opposite and certain people still hate a young successful boxer who happens to be undefeated also, so why not get behind him and wish the best for him, He makes the floyd haters into hypocrites and the floyd haters are mostly lil g fans as you notice on these boards. And yes Ward says he has the emails sent back and forth between his and lil g's people of them turning down a fight against Ward with the same stipulations he wanted versus other 168lb fighters. Since he said he has those emails, lil g's people have finally shut up about Ward. There are many reasons to love Ward #1 is he's a winner and gold medalist. Didnt Oscar get promoted to the hilt because of his gold medal, didnt srl get promoted because of his gold medal? Whats not to like about Ward? Everything you guys said you hated about Floyd is not true with Ward, and still you dislike him. I wonder why...

****** post. Mayweather fans obviously prefer the sweet science and more technical approach to Boxing so ofcourse they would favor fighters of similar styles. you dont have to make it a team jacob vs team edwards thing in regards to Mayweather and Pacquiao.
With that said.. Its still is very obvious (and hilarious) that every Pacquiao fanboy on this forum converted into a GGG fan. That was soooo obvious and humorous and was a pleasure to watch unfold in the Mayweather-Pacquiao aftermath. They also now condone the same "A side" or "It makes sense buisness wise" and "he draws more" nonsense that they spent years trashing Mayweather over. It's funny for the objective fans see you guys turn to this lol
I like Ward, not one of my favorites, but I know he beats GGG for the same reasons most unbias fans knew Mayweather, someway, somehow, would beat Pacquiao. This time everyone is just more aware and not falling for a repeat of that situation with Ward-GGG, so isnt Ward, which is why hes ahead of the curve and being outspoken about wanting GGG before the media had a chance to pounce on the whole "OMG ward is avoiding GGG hes SCARED" spin that was bound to happen.
Then ofcourse people will say "Oh hes begging for the fight" when they never said that about the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight. Its the same situation... and the defenders can stall for a bit, now that GGG has buzz, but dont kid yourselves, Ward-GGG WILL be in demand the way Mayweather-Pacquiao was, and Ward will be the Pacquiao to GGG's Mayweather, as the unbeatable "P4P" god of Boxing, and lets see what happens then with these excuses for GGG.Last edited by MrP4P; 09-27-2015, 09:43 PM.Comment
