I'm predicting a Canelo victory either a stoppage or decision but it won't be one sided.

Cotto will have his moments and might stun Canelo with that left hook but won't put him down. On the other hand, Canelo will put him down.

If Cotto manage to backpedal the last few rounds, he lose a decision otherwise Canelo by TKO.

I think if Cotto's strategy is to stick and move, then he can outbox Canelo. If he does that well enough he can possibly make Canelo look bad enough to get the decision. If he decides to stay in the pocket and have a shoot out. Canelo can make Cotto suffer. I think this fight is all about who is better prepared mentally to stick with their game plan. Oh and the judges have to be on their best behavior.

i rmbr going into kovalev hopkins, cotto martinez, it was pretty even, but both turned out to be 1 sided.

IF this goes one sided, which side do you think itll be?
I think it will be as one-sided as the Froch/Bute and the Cotto/Martinez fights. I think Cotto will slap Alvarez around for five or six rounds and then KO him.

I think, after the fight, Canelo will do something he should have done a long time ago that a lot of fighters do after a major loss -- he will blame the loss on his trainer and change trainers. It won't make him any better, but he thinks it will.

Most of the stuff I read before the Hopkins/Kovalev fight had Kovalev winning pretty easily.
And if people knew that Sergio Martinez couldn't even run during training the fight would not have been predicted to be as close. It was clear after the fight that Sergio was not fully healthy going in.
I expect an action fight. Both guys are not afraid to mix it up. I fully expect Cotto to be on that bicycle in the later rounds after he eats a few big shots. I would love to see a knockout but more and more i am leaning toward Canelo by decision.
