350 amateur fights, including World Championships and the Olympics and you think he's never been tested? I could understand being su****ious if he had a poor amateur record but his professional record is just a natural extension of where he stood in the amateurs. There is no reason to believe he has ever been involved in any kind of PED usage. He has probably been tested more than any other boxer in the sport.

Considering GGG isn't overly muscular or gains a lot of weight between the weigh-in and fight time, I doubt he's juicing.

It was only a matter of Time before GGG haters start claiming PED Use

Although it is late in the game, not that much later than Floyd's five weeks. And we don't know why it took so long. Lastly, they've been tested in previous fights. No history of use.

But the haters are fast to jump on this train.

Well when GGG is knocking dudes out, what else do the haters have.

This is what happened for this fight, and we don't know what the delay was. But both will be fighting clean.

If you are using, they'd need to stop a few weeks ago, and you don't just stop using PED's, you have to counteract the effect it has on the hormonal system. PED's shut off natural Testostrone, and it takes months to turn it back on.

The things they'd use would be more in line with right before the fight to create endurance.

        Hence the testing.

        It's not pointless at all.

Plus, taking test is a long process of turning off and on the body's natural ability. If either just stopped three weeks before the fight, they'd find them self feeling horrible come fight night.

The lack of knowledge of the subject is stunning.

But, but, he is a damn LHW fighter JR.MW. He is bigger than Ward, but won't fight him.

BUT, BUT, it doesn't matter if I sound like a dumb truck, at least I can say Ward ten times with rolling on the floor laughing.

          Lol! I certainly can't.

Jesus, do you ever read your comments. You lack of knowledge about the things you talk about is utterly stunning.

They said, "Fake it until you make it," and you're gonna run with it.

            Two ways to cheat

You can use PEDs up till the fight giving you a huge unfair advantage or use it to train building your body up and then cycle off however you still maintain the benefits because you were able to train harder.... just depends on what you're trying to achieve ....using up till the fight people are catching on because you look unnatural relative to your normal physic so fighters cycle off several weeks before

I don't necessarily think they need to make it mandatory. Just make it voluntary for ranked fighters & if they refuse to volunteer they lose their ranking. That seems like a reasonable enough expectation if the WBC is looking to keep everything level among all the fighters eligible to fight for their titles.

And I bet some commissions would love some help with this PED stuff & would love to help enforce this sorta thing with some $ shot their way. I mean the UFC is already doing this basically except they are testing their entire roster (500+ fighters) 24/7/365. I would assume the WBC could get under 300 champion & ranked contenders 24/7/365 tested in much the same way the UFC is or using some other tactics that they are capable of using...if they really wanted to.

That's actually a pretty good idea. But I think even the WBC doesn't really have the funding to take on doing random drug testing year-round, much less for an entire division of fighters.

But we can't compare the UFC to the WBC or Boxing Commissions. UFC is one unified organisation. WBC has a lot less power over fighters. And all the Boxing Commissions are separated, operating under their own rules. And the UFC has the funding to test all their fighters. Boxing has nothing like that.

VADA did 24/7/365 testing with donaire. VADA the only trusted testers in combat sports to do all year round testing. and it's cheap.

USADA is too corrupt and can be easily bought off as shown with mayweather (he was giving them over 100k for "testing" for a few weeks only).

Don't see the problem at all. People complaining for no reason like always.

Not sure why some people in here are complaining. They could have done no extra testing whatsoever and no one would say a thing about it. As for the reason why its late, could be a number of factors- disagreement on who would do the testing, perhaps it was something that was not inv the contract and one camp decided they wanted extra testing after the contracts were signed, etc.
