Being a poker player & very into statistics I gotta tell you those "stats" are meaningless. VADA having a 8.3% catch rate over 36 boxers & USADA having a 1.0% catch rate over 92 boxers over a total of 64 bouts between them when there are probably 40,000+ pro bouts a year (pulled that number outta my ass, but figure it is a lot, maybe more maybe less) means f#ck all.
Ummm...bouts with no testing from either company don't count bud...do you count your odds of catching a flush when your holding an open ended straight draw? If so, I wouldn't mind sitting down at your table sometime
WBC's new policy states that all their title holders will be subject to random testing throughout the year, not only when preparing for fights. That is the most that any sanctioning body can mandate as unless you hold a WBC title, or are fighting in a WBC sanctioned title fight, they have no reason at all and no right at all to test you.
You complain when nobody gets tested and you complain when they do.
If a guy knows he's gonna get tested before camp he'd be ****** to get caught... You don't take steroids year round unless you're one of those Mr Olympia freaks. Every boxer could immediately get on a 6 week cycle after a fight and probably 2 cycles before their next camp and never get caught by anyone.
Unless it's 24/7/365 people will cheat their balls off...count on it.

Ummm no clue what you are talking about. I didn't count stats that no one knows. I only implied the odds of catching people isn't known & suggested that the sample size for the stats we do know are meaningless in the grand scheme of things.
It'd be like a new police chief in a high crime area catching 4 outta of 5 of the murderers for the first murders during his term while the new police chief in the next town over went 2/10 & the first chief suspecting he'll be batting 800 over the next 200 murders through the rest of the year or even doing better than the other chief over the year. I mean he could. Its just not likely cuz 5 murders in a town with 200+ murders a year don't mean much statistically is all I'm saying.

Why couldn't any fighter the WBC ranked be put under this rule too? I understand there being a bigger deal their champion is clean, but why not everyone they ranked also? Seems like it'd be better to find the guy with PEDs BEFORE he's won your title anyway. Bad PR & ****.
