We should make a list of all the GGG haters and their reasons for being a hater, they are pretty easily categorized.
1.) I am blinded by racism.
2.) GGG destroyed my favourite fighter
3.) GGG is going to destroy my favourite fighter
4.) GGG is way popular/exciting than my favourite fighter
5.) GGG is not signed with my god Al Haymon
6.) I am just a ****** and hate boxingComment

That awkward moment a bumsniff suddenly realises the fraudulent nature of his idol's own drug testing procedures.Comment

Cmon #2 is a stretch. Like GGG has already fought a guy who'd be anyone's favorite fighter. We should make a list of all the GGG haters and their reasons for being a hater, they are pretty easily categorized.

Maybe they could up their title fight purse cut from 3% to 5% (that'd have given them an extra $8M for Floyd vs Manny & an extra $20k per $1M in title fight purses) or whatever would be needed to fund this. I just think its doable, somehow, someway...if they really wanted to make the effort to do something about PEDs on some meaningful scale. The latter of which is my estimation despite the half measures they (or anyone else) are implementing.
I'd definitely be curious to see the UFC's PED testing accounting 1st year final figures to gauge how much this would cost for other groups. I believe both major testing groups has said the pricing gets better the more testing you require so these $35k-$150k numbers should be going down for the UFC vs the numbers we hear about for one fight. But we can't compare the UFC to the WBC or Boxing Commissions. UFC is one unified organisation. WBC has a lot less power over fighters. And all the Boxing Commissions are separated, operating under their own rules. And the UFC has the funding to test all their fighters. Boxing has nothing like that.
And sure the UFC & the boxing alphabet groups have different power (I'll leave commissions out as I believe if anyone is gonna have meaningful PED testing in boxing with how things work today it'll need to be alphabet groups due to their having the widest reaching power in boxing & best ability to fund it), but I believe them both to have the power to get this done...again if they wanted it done. Truth be told the UFC didn't want it to happen for a long time themselves til they took enough criticism about PED'd up fighters. That level of criticism doesn't exist in boxing. Fans don't care &/or understand PEDs all that much it seems to me &/or enough people haven't been busted for it yet. The level of testing seems to follow along with the amount of fans who give a damn about it.Comment
