Because if it were another testing agency, none of these reasons would be mentioned. Not sure why some people in here are complaining. They could have done no extra testing whatsoever and no one would say a thing about it. As for the reason why its late, could be a number of factors- disagreement on who would do the testing, perhaps it was something that was not inv the contract and one camp decided they wanted extra testing after the contracts were signed, etc.

It seems that VADA is on The Money Team payroll too! Uh oh!VADA did 24/7/365 testing with donaire. VADA the only trusted testers in combat sports to do all year round testing. and it's cheap.
USADA is too corrupt and can be easily bought off as shown with mayweather (he was giving them over 100k for "testing" for a few weeks only).

I don't like Floyd more for his cowardly style than his arrogance. I don't mind ego when it's deserved. Floyd was ok at one time, but he started making boxing a joke to keep his Zero.
What story. I'm just wondering if you'll ever figure out what is happening. Suddenly GGG is on PED, so he sucks and is on PED, I guess he is sleeping with a bunch of people's girlfriends too.
Considering he is a nice humble guy, all this hate is just dumb. It's the kind of stuff you need a
for.

In the context of the sanctioning bodies, this is indistinguishable from making testing mandatory. Your idea is not voluntary.I don't necessarily think they need to make it mandatory. Just make it voluntary for ranked fighters & if they refuse to volunteer they lose their ranking. That seems like a reasonable enough expectation if the WBC is looking to keep everything level among all the fighters eligible to fight for their titles.
Also, we're talking about 15 ranked contenders for each of the 17 weight classes. That's 255 fighters the WBC would have to test at $15,000 a pop for each one of their fights. Where's the money going to come from? Lots of fighters would have to give up most of their purse to pay for that. Don't think a 3% sanctioning fee would cover it.Comment

I guess I am not sure. I just assume most boxers are clean. Maybe I am wrong. I really don't know much about how the testing works. 24 7 would certainly be best. I guess I just like GGG and Lemieux and like to think the best of them. I know that's not a good reason but in my case it's the truth.Comment
