Comments Thread For: Marquez: Pacquiao Should Fight Brook, Crawford, Garcia

A few days ago, Juan Manuel Marquez made it clear that he was not interested in a fifth fight with Manny Pacquiao.

The two boxers faced off in four grueling battles, with Marquez winning their fourth and final confrontation with a brutal sixth round knockout in 2012.

Pacquiao's promoter, Bob Arum of Top Rank, named Marquez as a possible candidate for Manny's return to the ring in early 2016.

I agree, all those are great fights for Manny. I think he'd beat all three as well.

Lucas Matthysse after he beats Postol next Saturday! That's who Manny should fight.

Freddie knows his boxing and knows Pacquiao needs a confidence-building fight against an opponent he has the potential to look good against. He also knows that Pacquiao has a better chance to let his hands go against a flat-footed Danny. The only way I see Danny winning this is with a JMM like KO, which is very unlikely. Danny might land some nice overhands occasionally, but Pacquiao has proven that he can take a punch. Maybe Danny scores a KD, but other than that, I see Pacquiao boxing circles around him for the most part.

            They're all really good suggestions.

Winnable fights, and most importantly would cement Pac as right back at the top again (and probably entice Floyd).

Crawford is the most do-able fight.

Marquez is scared of getting his face busted up by the Champ "Pacquiao".
