I got Ward by UD. Kovalev looks good knocking out Nadjib Mohammedi, Blake Caparello, Cedric Agnew, Nathan Cleverly, etc. But to think that Kovalev would knock out Ward like he did against those boxers are going to be in for a rude awakening when they fight.

Kovalev has shown good foot movement and good range against C/D level boxers, but Ward is no C/D level boxer. Ward is in a different league compared to Nathan Cleverly.

You're just gonna ignore Kovalev's astonishing performance with the boxing master Hopkins? How about Pascal??

Ward is a great fighter, but he will go out much like B-Hop did. Kovalev is such an underrated boxer, it's crazy.

Ward is a excellent boxer, but his chin is definitely not as great as Hopkins. If it wasn't for Hopkin's chin he would of got KO'd by Kovalev.

I see Ward vs Kovalev being a KO, if Ward manages to go 12 it will only prove how good Ward is at subduing power boxers

Ward fans know Ward is shook.
Don't think he's shook at all....honestly though, he doesn't seem move with a sense of urgency these days. I could be wrong, hopefully I am but Ward hasn't looked very motivated since he came back from his shoulder surgery.

Back in 2014, Ward said he would quit boxing... he seemed bored of being in the sport for about 20 years already...

I get that vibe from him at times. Ward doesn't appear to be in need of money and his personal life looks to be in order. Not sure what his motivation is to continue fighting these days.

Again, purely conjecture on my part. Hopefully I'm wrong.

I can't see Kovalev KO'ing Ward. Like Hopkins, Ward IMO is too slick and has such a proficient defence that he won't allow himself to get hit by Kovalevs biggest shots. I think he'd get hit, but not by Kovalevs big punches, that ones that really hurt you and do the lasting damage.

I'm around 50-50 on who'll win, I slightly favour a Ward decision since, as I said, I think the fight goes the distance. However Kovalev can still put rounds in the bag even if he doesn't get the KO, as we saw with B-Hop. Look at GGG-Murray, GGG ko'd Murray late but he also won practically every round.

But if I had to put my money down it would be on a Ward decision. It would be close, Ward would have to work very hard and fight the best he's every fought to win.

It will take Kovalev about two rounds before he figures out Wards timing and defensive patterns and he will start to land almost at will.

Ward wants 3 tuneups first doe. Meaning, the Kovalev fight won't happen. You need to give it up.

Ward will eventually settle for GG. Even that is hard to figure. Ward is a very confused individual.
