Former four division world champion Roy Jones Jr., who two weeks ago became a Russian citizen, said he had already begun training for his next fight, which he says will be held in Moscow.

He says his next fight is being planned for the early winter or late autumn, and things are being worked out Jones to fight for a world title in the cruiserweight division. He is considering three potential dates - November 28, December 2 and December 12.

all i ever hear is roy jones should retire but why? i understand his health is at risk i get that but hes not ****** he knows what he can and cant do and if this is what he loves then so be it

People want him to retire because he's continuously asking for a death sentence for no reason. I get he likes to box but this isn't recreational tennis or anything. There's a lot of risks involved and he has no clue of his limitations (he's constantly calling out the top fighters even though they'll all murder him).

Someone needs to start a TV show called Boxing Champions Interventions. You'd never run out of possible boxers for the show I know that much. First season could be RJJ, Mosley, Mayorga, Jermain Taylor, Razor Ruddock (if he didn't re-retire after being KTFO) & Jose Luis Castillo. Potential second season participants will be Margarito & Bhop if they haven't retired yet.
