Anyone know what dates this 'year' is referring to? If I take it from Brooks win over Porter then I think these guys did better:

Jamie Mcdonnell - Went away to win his first title (like Brook), then immediately went back to rematch Kameda for his first defence.

Degale - Andre Dirrel (Away title win) and MAPeriban (KO2).

Both match Brook's away title win over Porter, but also have another good win too.

Also in with a shout was Frampton who beat Kiko Martinez for his title then defended vs Avalos and the tougher than expected Alejandro Gonzalez.
