Prime vs Prime, I'd pick Margarito in a war. Right now it isn't even competitive and Garcia would probably stop him in the second half of the fight if not earlier because of Margarito's face and his love of blocking shots with it.

Prime Cotto is a much higher caliber fighter than Garcia and everyone Garcia fought.

But then again you can't tell which fights Plasterito was loaded so his whole legacy is in question.

How is a prime Cotto much higher caliber of a fighter? In some ways Garcia is more accomplished (corto never unified) and arguably already has the better wins

Tbh I'd have to see him perform first. He's been out so long that it's unfair to give a real assessment.

But if he still has anything left and can still resemble his old self, I'd have no problem taking him over Garcia.
