Yeah, but imagine how many fighters with 100+ fights did surpass 49-0-0. It's not the same for various reasons. One, they did not retire, 2 the records were padded at the time of their respective 49-0 or 60-0 and they would not have been seen as much.

If JCC had stopped at 60-0, his record would have looked like this: 4 years of padding, then Rocky Lockridge, Edwin Rosario, Jose Luis Ramirez, Roger Mayweather, Juan LaPorte, Ruben Castillo...SOLID record, very solid record. But not the great record it ended up being with additions of more titles in more weight classes like 135 and 140 and several more names like Camacho, Taylor, Haugen. No where near the accomplishments at 60-0 that he ended up having.

Perfect record. That is the argument being made.

Not undefeated record, perfect record. Like Cliff Rold made the baseball analogy before. Perfect Game vs No--Hitter.

If he fights the best at 112 and 115 then he may lose. Depends on the level of competition. Estrada, Ruenrong and Inoue are all more than capable.

What part of not a real record do you not get. 49-0 gets filed with most homeruns on Tuesday and other made up records.
