Comments Thread For: Chris Eubank Jr. Now Working With Trainer Adam Booth

As previously reported, Chris Eubank Junior has signed a deal with Matchroom and will appear on the undercard of Kell Brook’s IBF welterweight title defence against Diego Chaves at the Sheffield Arena on October 24. Eddie Hearn unveiled his new signing at a press conference earlier today.

Adam Booth was also in attendance; he has joined Eubank’s training set-up and will hope to replicate the success he enjoyed with former cruiserweight world champion and WBA heavyweight title-holder David Haye, former British champion Curtis Woodhouse, and current WBO middleweight titlist Andy Lee. Good move for Eubank jr. I just hope Booth is left to get on with his job and not have it interfered with.

Booth works well with the fast twitchy muscle sort. Eubank Jr has a lot of natural athleticism, he just needs polishing.

They'll be wife swapping in no time.

Whoa whoa whoa - what do they mean 'former' WBA interim champion? I never heard him losing that phoney title?

His fight in October & December will likely be scrubs as he adjusts to Booth's training.

First thing booth needs to do is clear out eubank sr. Every fight i've watched of junior that deluded twat has been there making a complete arse of himself.

If Booth can give Eubank Jr. a jab he could be the real deal. That's the biggest glaring hole in his game at the moment.

                This pairing seems very natural.

As long as Booth is left alone to get on with things, it should be a good move.

Haha quadruple egos will mean this pairing will not last the distance, unless Father is out of the scene. I can't imagine Booth putting up with his shyte.

If he is, then I can see Jr & Booth working well. Jr is clumsy and wild at the moment imo, Booth should sharpen this up.

All of Booths fighters seem to adopt the stalker/counter role, Jr could fit this style rather well with his speed.
