Quick Fighter of the Year question

Do you still get a belt if you are Ring Magazine's Fighter of the Year? I saw Tito with one but that was back in '01.

I would guess that anybody that had about $100 could make a belt that said anything on it.

I am pretty sure that if you were the 2001 fighter of the year, you could not put that belt on the line and lose it in 2006.....

Not a belt like a championship.

I remember seeing Tito's belt that said fighter of the year, but then I remember James Toney was F.O.T.Y. and he got a plaque.

I think fighter of the year award should be a plaque, not some bull**** belt & voted on by the fans not a select few at Ring (unless they already do fan polling, which I don't think they ever did).
