Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport has met with Barry McGuigan, manager and promoter of IBF super bantamweight champion Carl Frampton, to discuss a potential blockbuster fight in 2016 with WBA 'regular' champion Scott Quigg.

Quigg (31-0-2, 23 KOs) is slated to return to the ring in the fall and Frampton's next fight is up on the air at the moment. Both Frampton (21-0, 14 KOs) and Quigg were last in action in July 18th on separate events.
