Luke Campbell has confirmed he'll fight on the undercard of Anthony Joshua's bout with Dillian Whyte on December 12.

Joshua takes on bitter rival Whyte for the British and Commonwealth heavyweight titles at The O2, and his fellow Olympic gold medallist Campbell will fight an as yet unnamed opponent.

The 27-year-old from Hull (12-0-KO10) was last in action in August when he halted local rival Tommy Coyle in the 10th round and having climbed to eighth in the WBC rankings, already has his eyes on their Venezuelan champion, Jorge Linares.

Hearn seems to be moving Campbell along quite slowly. Fellow gold medallist Joshua already has the Commonwealth title and will likely win the British title, whereas Campbell has no important belts yet. Very ****** move if he's being fast-tracked to Linares.
