50-0? Who should it be?

It isn't 50 and 0 until he wins the 50th fight. Bradley would be a good pick if Mayweather wants an almost sure win. How is Bradley going to win when he was easily defeated twice by Pacquiao if both fights had been scored correctly. Bradley is brave and tough but he can't outbox Mayweather and he can't knock Mayweather out. Brook would be a much harder welterweight to beat and Brook has a KO punch in his straight right. Brook would be a more of a challenge but I doubt Mayweather would be looking for too hard of fight. Mayweather should just stay retired because if he keeps fighting and he fights the best opponents he will eventually lose.Comment

If he came back and beat what would be seen by many as a healthy Manny, then that would be huge. If he came back to beat GGG, that would also be huge. Coming to think of it, if he came back against anybody above the level of a Berto it would be huge.
I personally don't think he should go for 50-0...He should stay retired in my opinion. I know the vast vast majority of the greats in the past have come back at some point, some successfully and some not, but it would shatter Floyds entire image if he was to join in alongside the names of history that came back and lost.
Floyd's entire image is on being the highest paid and being undefeated, therefore his claim to being TBE is born. Coming back and fighting again would definitely tick the "paid" box, but it would run a huge risk of unticking the "undefeated" box, like it did for so many others in his position, and therefore a huge part of his whole image.
He should stick to the path of Calzaghe, retiring even though he has challengers left and the skill left to handle them still...
The end of the road should remain the end of the road. Once you have made the decision that you are at the end of the ride, you should not go back on it because it is rare that it ends up well in this game.Comment

He should fight GGG (perhaps at 154), or stay retired. No other opponent would be interesting or even remotely competitive.Comment
