All this avoiding each other just opens up the top spot for somebody else. It dam sure wont be Khan. Not Brook or Thurman. Its too passive of an approach; theyre basically putn themselves ringside to watch somebody else snatch the crown. Khan would try to fight the loser of said fight and claim to be the Champ. Flatline would be the only one who believes that. The next WW Champ is probably not even currently in the Top 10 and is literally 2 wins sway from WW supremacy, even 1.

Comments Thread For: Khan: Fighting Kell Brook Would Set The Record Straight

My God, Khan does way more talking about fighting than actually fighting. He has a reason to duck everyone Brook especially but craves the Pacquiao and Mayweather fights. Had he even considered taking on Thurman, Brook, Porter or even rematching Garcia and pull these victories off (highly doubt he can beat Thurman or Brook) then there would have been such high demand that he face May or Pac he wouldnt need to go into begging mode, people would have demanded. Instead I think most of us just want the dude to shut up and slightly take joy in seeing him not get the big names he actually wants to fight.

Brook has gone after Khan for the last two years with no success. Khan has focused most of his energy, if not all, on getting a crack at Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Khan was passed over by Mayweather on three occasions. He is now involved in negotiations to face eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao in early 2016.

Other than the need to wait, that is.
Fcuk marinating when promoters do it , but especially fcuk marinating when the fighters try it on.
That fight should happen now, its a no-brainer.
But previously, Khan has dismissed that fight outright..... which is a start contrast to the position he took in this interview.
I expected Khan to categorically state that he is the best welterweight in Britain, and that Brook is nothing but a pretender..... but here Khan not only admits that issue is up for debate, but he was complimentary of Brook and he admits that the fight must happen.
It is a refreshing change of tack, but not as refreshing as the actual fight.
