Yes I do. Barrera is a tough match up for Beterbiev, I want to see it. Nobody wanted to see Kovalev/Mohammedi, it was a meaningless mandatory.

I know it's not his fault. I wonder why Barrera can't enter Canada.
Artur resides in Canada so it only makes sense for them to try and build his fan base in Canada. They really get behind their fighters there.

He could have fought Kovalev but they said no. No reason for him not to fight Stevenson either, other than Haymon and Michel don't want that to happen. And it's not like Stevenson has been stepping up his competition either. So there are fights out there for Beterbiev, and they are damn good ones. His team simply is not interested in them. I have no pity for him.

I don't blame Beterbiev's team for not taking the Kovalev fight right now. The fight will only get bigger with time. This also gives their guy more time to improve his professional game and raising his chances against Kovalev. I don't like that they're going to do Sergey dirty, but I do believe Beterbiev will fight Kovalev once it comes down to it.
Sergey has two big fights on the horizon: Stevenson and Beterbiev.
Maybe I'm wrong and those fight won't happen who knows, I can't predict the future.

Oh WTF!!!!!!! GYM/Haymon just found an out against another tough fight with ME. Beiterbiev just fought in Chicago in his last fight, there's no reason especially with the PBC money being thrown around, that Beterbiev couldn't fight Barrera in the US!!!! It's not like Beterbiev is some headline draw in Canada. If GYM/Haymon force the fight in Canada knowing Barrera can't accept - that's an official duck.

They probably did, but now they know Barrera has visa issues and can't legally fight there.

Beterbiev-Barrera is appetizing, but Duva's tears would taste even better. I wish nothing more than for every Main Events fighter to abandon Duva because she can't get any of them the fight that they want. Not even her golden goose. She's a terrible promoter.
