This fool been training since july. I have no idea why his team allowed him to have such a long camp. Working that hard aint going to accomplish anything in the ring except wear him down and tax his body. A standar 10 week camp would have been fine but they had to start training in july. His team is ****ing inept. That boy is going to peak too early and once Nov 21 comes he will be out of gas after 6 rounds. He is blowing his load during training camp.

Cotto/Canelo Fans, and GGG haters all Question Resume, but Push for GGG to be ducked

The same so called boxing fans who question who GGG has fought, are the ones who call for fighters like Cotto and Canelo to game the system so they don't have to fight GGG.

i dont know the truth but i cant help but to think of a near retirement ali when i see that 25 year old kid hit a speed back with a flat back and no bounce...it looks like he was just aiming and circling...as if going to through the motions was too tough

never thought i'd say cotto is the fresher body when talkin about a 25 year old, but i firmly believe it

if canelo hd to do more than blow on kirkland to hurt him there was no way he was winning that fight..agreed??

Canelo has taxed himself cutting down to Jr.MW when he is clearly a MW.

Yea, and Canelo rehydrated to 175. He is actually bigger than GGG.

No, and Canelo's run at Stardom will end if he faces GGG or if he vacates to duck him.

      Really surprised in fact.

That demand would have achieved a number of things....

      * it would have pushed Canelo harder, possibly even taxed him
      * it would make a joke out of the lineal MW title, which is a great thing
      * it would give Golovkin the middle finger when it comes to negotiating with the winner, who would obviously be a JMW

I'm a bit disappointed that Cotto chose to feed the trolls, but whatever.
Umm, that's a untrue contention. They couldn't make the fight for MW belt at 154. The sanctioning body says 155 and up only.

GGG has his middle finger up, and is yelling run you scared pretenders.

It wouldn't of done jack for GGG, no why, you know, I just told you, because the sanctioning body would only sanction the fight at 155 or above.

Even if they did, most fans know this 154 catch weight for the MW belt is a joke.

If Canelo and Cotto can hang with the GGG, they will admit it by vacating.

Canelo is a MW, and Cotto is MW champion.

GGG weighed in a 157 for his last fight. He is smaller than Canelo. It's not like they can just spin that away.

I get a kick out of silly people making dumb excuses and outright attempting to justify ducks.

Cotto is smaller than GGG, but he is calling himself the MW champion. It's Bologna.

Cotto is in trouble. I don't think he or roach realize how strong canelo is and how solid his technique is. The boxing and moving cotto has a chance to win but he is with roach now who just teaches pure offense and aggression. He is training cotto to get beaten up. Canelo has problems with boxers like Lara and Floyd. The cotto we have seen in his last 3 fights while looking reborn in a way, will be playing right into Canelos strengths.

Cotto is a HOF fighter and respect but I just can't see him winning. And even if cotto pulls off a win somehow he has a zero chance in hell of beating GGG so no one even discuss that even if cotto wins.

Long Camp isn't a problem if done right

Preparing for 3 months for a fight isn't an issue if done right because a professional boxer should be training at all times and not when they have a scheduled fight that would be like an NFL player only training during training camp and not the off season. The first month should be running, heavy bag, gym work lifting etc. with some sparring maybe every other week for a 3-4 rounds. This should gradually pick up in the second month by the end of the 60 days give or take a few you should be at weight 30 days out or no more than 7 lbs from making weight this gives you 3 weeks to continue sharpening skills and cut those last pounds if need be which should be easy because your metabolism should be burning fat like crazy. The last 7 days should be resting, film, stretching, maybe 1 hr work outs a day for timing, sprints, maintaining sharpness. 2/3 days before fight you should be chilling because the work has been done.

So is Cotto. Are u Puertorican? cuz I am, and I have seen him being carried out of several bars drunker than a skunk. Cotto is no saint, believe you me. Althoug I am Puertorican, I believe that Gingerboy will be too much for him (Too big, Too strong, Too young).

It is nothing of the sort.

They could fight over a box of crackers, it would make no difference.

That fight has been on the table for years.
