Sources have advised BoxingScene.com that a fight between former champion Ruslan Provodnikov and top contender Petr Petrov is a serious possibility for November 7th on Showtime.

This bout could take place at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn, New York. Provodnikov and Banner Promotions are in the midst of moving over from HBO to Showtime.

But between being feared (by other punchers) and at the same time totally exposed (by boxers) his money negotiations must go pretty rough

The only problem with that is Petrov is not going to be an easy fight. He has a ton of skills, and throws sharp, powerful punches. Prov will have a fight on his hands.
