As for Lara, coming off DELVIN is the worst ever fight made in history. Just **** Lara & Haymon for that fight.

I'd pick Clottey over Lara because 1. Lara won't land anything 2. He'll run so much that he won't win enough points.

But, PBC doe, Lara via MD. Clottey the type of dude to fight until 60 and still be Top Ten in the division. Nobody getting past the turtle defense.

I can't really get worked up about Clottey being passed over. If Lara is fighting a Charlo I'd be more for that than Clottey. Probably another half a dozen guys I'd rather see than Clotty get the shot if I thought about it so unless Lara goes bottom of the barrel I don't see much issue to take & I certainly don't see this situation on the "duck" level of things.

Zaveck is rank 20 by boxrec while Clottey is rank 24, even if I would loved Lara to fight Clottey just for the name, because in reality he bring no challenge for Lara or even any top 10 154 lbs fighter at this point in Clottey carrier.

At this point Lara unless is Canelo, the Charlo brother or even Andrade, I don't see any other 154 lbs even giving him a tough fight. Clottey, Zaveck, Smith, Delvin all easy wins.
