Baldomir doesn't have the raw talent that Judah has, but he's got more character. He's come through under difficult circumstances many times in the last several years, beating the odds over and over again to defeat favored opponents.

Personally I feel that Zab Judah's career as a top contender is very close to being over, not because he's physically washed-up but because he seems like a confused young man without a lot of inner strength or self control. He hangs out with guys of questionable character. His "entourage" reminds me a little of Mike Tyson's a few years ago. He's already had 4 losses and must summon the inner resources to rejuvenate his career, something he might be unable to do. I see no evidence whatsoever that he has the character of a Glen Johnson for the sake of comparison.

In any case, the situation is complicated by the fact that I am of the opinion that Gatti will beat Baldomir in July. In this case it's a matter of Gatti being a courageous warrior with more basic boxing talent who can match Baldomir's heart if not his intelligence. Gatti handled Damgaard in impressive fashion so he's not close to being washed up. Gatti's face already has as much scar tissue as that of a fighter with a brawling style (like Fullmer, Basilio, Iran Barkley) who's already been retired for a few years but I doubt that Baldomir will open a cut against Gatti bad enough to turn the fight in his favor.

well if Judah was to perform like he did against PBF, im sure he would have no problem with him this time around.

but the thing is would Judah be as motivated and determined as he was againt PBF? the hype wouldnt be there so i dont think Zab could do as well.
