Nationalistic idiots leave a bitter taste in my mouth. Margarito already beat Cotto. Floyd beat Cotto and Pacman, (the Mexican killer) beat Cotto. Hell, Austin Trout beat Cotto. Mexican's don't usually like Floyd and they don't like Trout.

Just because people like GGG, doesn't mean they're Mexican. But fyi, GGG is the consensus best at 160. If Cotto is gonna act like a middleweight, he should be required to fight them. That has nothing to do with Mexicans.

This era can be the era of GGG if he take the right fights, He can develop a Tyson-like following due to his KO power/style, but fighting boy-band members shouldn't be the way forward.

Gennady is the terminator @160...no one wants to fight him, not quillen, not Jacobs and definitely not ward!

Take into the fact GGG didn't have your silver spoon treatment, he's not from a rich area at all and he's worked his arse off harder than most boxers its very. very easy to see why the Mexicans show him love.
Look at gggs resume! No silver spoon treatment? GTFOH!

Yes I've looked at it, he's fought all over the world he's fighting 3-4 times a year even at this stage of his career.
GGG is doing it the hard way he isn't being gifted like guys such as Ward were with that tournament the fact Ward was the only one to not travel to other countries and the fact he came from a rich background.
GGG comes from a poor country a poor area, Ward doesn't he's had everything his own way but it doesn't matter how many sad people try to keep him down he's arguably the best guy in boxing to watch.

As is Murray, Rubio, Canelo... Golovkin is an average sized middleweight. He just HITS like a LHW.

Cotto beat a Martinez when they all say he will lose it. he beat it and then they all make a excuses saying that he was a cripple, but the truth from the video evidence say he hurt him too early and he didnt recovoer.

not only that but he keep running from Ward who he clearly afraid. Ward call him out and he act like a Mayweather making various demands and different stipulation. He's not got a big PPV rating like the other big star of boxing.

Not only this but he 34 and looks like he in a decline to me while Cotto have a resurgance. I notice a lot of certain fans are getting on a bandwagon for him because he is favoured against a certain fighters.

Truth is GGG is running from ward and is not a given he beats Cotto who is the LINEAL WBC champion.
Not hard to know Mexican fight fans like boxers who fight and leave it all in the ring! He doesn't talk that much, but delivers and comes forward like Chavez Sr. Salvador Sanchez. Gets it done l! What's not to like?
