Why did you not see that coming. I am a fan of both, I side with Ward, I think Ward master classes GGG, But other than the Super Six, what has Ward done to say that this fight should be 50/50. Ward's resume is better than GGG's but that does not determine who is A-Side and who is B-Side. Popularity determines A-Side, B-Side in the case of a fight like Ward vs GGG. Accomplishments are what deterimined the A-Side vs B-Side decision for Canelo vs Cotto.

The thing is this, if you need another fighter to help sell the fight, you are the B-Side. Unless your Achievements are so great.

And even split is fair at this point. I think however that ward is the more elite fighter deserving of the bigger cut. But on the other hand ggg has been a beast and fighting four times a year as opposed to ward only fighting once in two years. So I think right now 50-50 is fair.
I'm a fan of both I pick ward to pull it out via decision if it were to go down.
