Garcia is a terrible trainer. "Keep moving forward, don't stop punching" is all you'll ever hear in the corner. Pretty much all he ever says anyway even when his fighter is about to die.

I just heard that Klimas and Robert are partnering up, so Klimas could have his fighters train there. I could be mistaken, they already train there anyway, but who knows the specifics.

I like Robert, he seems like a nice dude, but I always felt he was overrated (not that he's a bad trainer, but that he gets more credit than he should). He's also very busy, Kovalev needs a guy like JDJ. JDJ is a great trainer and has more time for Sergey. I wouldn't mind Robert helping here and there though.
Maybe Robert and his father can teach Kovalev a better inside game, it doesn't hurt to add more things to your game.

kovalev needs a trainer that will prepare him for ward's clinch tactics. also it wouldn't help buying a ref that will punish clinching. fights are won outside the ring.

There were rumors months ago that Kovalev was leaving Jackson and it turned out Kovalev just likes to train at random "friendly" gyms for a change of pace. Probably still the same.

stop getting mad on sunflower seed eater garcia, its the manager businessman egis who tells his fighters who to train with, if you were in garcia shoes would you tell egis no sorry i must refuse your lucrative offer of trainer kovalev? I personally think its a bad move, all kovalev needs is a good conditioning coach to get his punch fluidity back, kovalev used to string punches to gether and fight in a rhythm like pacquiao and lomachenko both rhythm fighters.
