So How Would React If GGG Gets KTFO?

    ...honest question

whether he's doing it on purpose or his defense is leaky, let's admit it; GGG does get hit...he's been hit by hard punchers like Stevens but never really been buckled

Lemieux for his technical deficiencies can still hit like a mule...how would YOU react if he lays GGG out cold?

as a GGG fan, i would be shocked...not like when Roy or Manny got laid out but i would probably be deflated

BUT, as a boxing fan, i would be interested to see the fallout...how the MW get's reshuffled

does the Quillin-Jacobs fight become the end all be, be all of the MW division?

i know the Cotto fans would breathe a sigh of relief

i know Ward would then be forced to focus on Kovalev instead

Basically, the boxing landscape would be shook

    how would YOU feel?

it won't be that big of a shocker

GGG and Lemieux both have styles that put them on the edge and very open to being hit, that's why I can't wait

I'm rooting for Lemieux for 2 reasons:
    1. Shameless ethnic bias
    2. If GGG gets KO'd and removed from relevance Ward will be forced to fight guys his size and also KO'd

Actually 3 reasons, Cotto will never fight an undefeated Golovkin, he might fight one who got KTFO

Just saw the Ndam fight again, Lemieux is such a none threat that it ain't even funny.

If that were to happen then I fell for the hype because the despite a lot of the hate Golovkin gets, I do consider him to be the goods.

Depends if he manages to bounce back tbh, if he immediately rematches him and puts it right then I think it will be considered a minor set back, I do agree though GGG is there to be hit, he's just very offensively sound and has crazy power lol.

If he was to completely fall off the radar I wouldn't feel awful or anything, at the end of the day we've seen fighters time and time again where we believe they're the real deal and they just didn't do what people thought they could, whether it's because they couldn't or unfortunate circumstances prevented it from working out and I think this would just be considered another one of them cases, I do like GGG and hope he does well/gets a major fight soon though.

i admire your open honesty, re: reason #1

what happens to Lemieux then? does GBP groom him or do they feed him to Canelo?

I'd be very surprised. I expect this fight to go 4 or 5 rounds.

If Golovkin lost to somebody as ordinary as Lemiuex then his chances of becoming a genuine star are almost certainly over, especially at 33 years old.

Lemieux would become a superstar though. He's probably P4P number 1 Dish right now already.

me too...i want him to do well and continue to be relevant and get bigger fights...it would suck for all this momentum to end right now

i wouldn't be surprised at all. look at lemieux's KO percentage. i've watched lemieux for a long time now. he almost killed someone with one punch in the first round. very scary. lemieux has the power to end a fight easily with one punch. and i don't think ggg's chin has REALLY BEEN TESTED.

i expect lemieux to get KO'ed absolutely cold. but there is a 34.5% chance he KO's GGG according to me.

lemieux has a 90% KO percentage. he has ab ig puncher's chance. anyone who don't think so are blind to the facts and realities of boxing world wide sports.
