Comments Thread For: Hearn Says Quigg's Priority is Frampton, Then Donaire

Frampton didn't move to fight in the US in order to get closer to making a fight with Quigg. He wants Santa Cruz and Mares eventually.
Hearn knows this and so does Quigg. Frampton - Quigg gets made when they have both lost a fight. Ditto Brook-Khan and Groves-DeGale.Comment

Usual BS from Hearn. Apparently you now NEED ...NEED... PPV to make any halfway meaningful fight, as the fight can't be made otherwise. Even though someone like GGG is ONLY NOW FIGHTING ON PPV despite being immensely popular and commanding serious purses for the past 18 months or so. Froch vs Bute was on regular Sky, and there's been plenty of big fights in the past on regular Sky, so I wish he'd stop pushing this 'needing' PPV nonsense.Comment

HAHA, so true. Hearn basically tried to generate some buzz for Scott Quigg by name-dropping Nonito. Then, when Donaire agreed all terms, agreed to travel, he went back to bitterly carping about Frampton and McGuigan. Come the fck on, if you wanted Donaire, take the fight!
Quigg-McDonnell would be utterly pointless, Quigg is too big and strong and neither has a major fan base. Hearn knows Frampton is where the money is.Comment

Hearn is a liar and he is getting worse. He said that Donaire was the fight they were chasing now they're saying it's frampton? GTFO.Comment

I think he's always maintained that Frampton was their number 1 priority and obviously it should be given that it's the bigger fight.
If he doesn't make either of those fights though, he'll be getting pelters.Comment

Quigg and Brook are two sides of the same coin. Both have had their career built around leeching off the names of guys who take all the wear and tear.Comment

i think quigg beats everyone at 122 except for rigondeaux. frampton punk gets ko'd, and fraudnaire gets obliterated worse.Comment
