The last viable threat Ward faced was Ward back in 2011. Why is it that some people love to cry racism to cover up their inadequacies? Ward has had THREE FIGHTS IN FOUR YEARS!!!!! He should consider himself lucky that HBO even answers the phone when his people call. If he is being treated like a lazy prick, maybe it's because he is one.

And yet everyone in the world - including you - can clearly see that Ward is still one of the very best fighters on the planet.

You are probably the only genuine Andre Ward fan who posts here, so I respect that, but your faith in him is misplaced, imo.

Of course Duva is interested in making Kovalev/Ward, and Iskowitch is desperate for Ward to take a meaningful fight to justify his signing fee and the small fortune Roc spent buying out his contract with Goosen.

But it won't happen unless Andre wants it, and I don't think he does. Check out his reaction when asked about Kovalev in this interview. Notice he refers to people like you, who want him to fight Krusher, as "critics", rather than fans.

I have only 1 question for u and those like u who become so filled with ire when someone recognizes racial bias in boxing : Please explain why HBO has allowed GGG to fight an abysmal number of cans gleefully , but demands Ward only fight viable threats every time or go elsewhere for viewing ? If u can answer that with a logical non-sarcastic answer that make sound sense then I'll admit I'm wrong and admit I may have prematurely saw race as an issue when it really wasn't .

Consider two things.....

1) Golovkin is desperate for credibility. And Ward is likely the only fighter at 168 or under who can give it to him.

2) Ward has been inactive, and is not fighting top opposition. If you are ever planning to fight Andre Ward, then this is the opportune time.

Considering those two things, why dont Team Golovkin want that fight ?

Ward/Golovkin will never happen, Ward needs to move on.

Your such a shallow tard. HBO gave Ward the commentator job to keep him relevant during his self-imposed hiatus. HBO denied Ward fights against Sartison & MW Truax because he was demanding $2mill minimum for those fights. Instead they agreed to pay Edwin Rodriguez a ridiculous $1mill payday in order to get Andre Ward back on their airwaves.

Golovkin's able to take fights like Monroe, Rubio, Murray, and Stevens because they pay less for the entire card than would just for Ward alone. Golovkin then turns around an earns himself as much money as Ward because he actually draws at the gate and he has over a half-dozen international tv deals.
