I have stated that for the longest time now.....

If you are happy that Golovkin will fight Froch and Chavez at 168, but that he totally refuses to fight Ward at 168..... then good for you.

If you are happy for Golovkin to demand a CW from Ward and justify that demand by insisting that he is the A-side...... and then be forced to fight a bum for a vacant strap because he is not prepared to apply that same reasoning/logic to Cotto..... then good for you.

But, that proves two things.....

1) Golovkin has the exact resume that he wanted, no excuses
2) There is no avoided killer here, just another risk/reward averse fighter

Froch is Ward's career best win, idiot. But he wouldn't go up in weight to face a guy like that, much less in the UK. But I bet he would go up for Chavez, he was really talking him up on HBO.

It's super rare, the closest is Floyd demanding a CW to unify SWW after he fought Cotto at 154 and boasted he wants opponents at their best weight, said Cotto is undefeated cause Pac trounced him at a CW.
