I posted this in the May 17th "Mexico Shocker: Eden Sonsona Stops Adrian Estrella in Two" article.
You can kinda see with how Estrella is fighting that he would get caught. He had never proven he had an iron chin beforehand or anything. His punch resistance was not an absolute known at this time really. When punch resistance about a fighter isn't known, I like to think it's guaranteed glass, so I'm not really surprised when they get OHKOed...
It probably has more to do with the fact I considered Estrella possibly the worst mexican prospect currently, along with Berchelt. In all likelyhood, Tornado Sanchez is next. He doesnt impress me too much. IMO, its not long for him...
No surprise here.Comment

IDK if Concepcion is on PEDs or something else but I just learned that Sanchez had weight problems yesterday (he had ti make 3 attempts to finally get it) and that could be enough to reduce the physical capacity of any boxer. I saw Sanchez fighting before and he was leaner, faster and his punches were far more damaging than tonight. Anyway, if Sanchez had problems with weight or he doesn't prepare well is his own fault (no one else to blame) but it just explains why the fight look so much in favor of Concepcion (I saw the man of Panama lost 3 times in the past and 2 defeats were against Tyson Marquez who is nothing special).Comment

Not really, just go back and watch his first fight against "Tyson" Marquez. Concepción its the kind of person with a really solid chin. He does get affected by those punches, but it doesn't show that much. An example of that is Giovani Segura, he recieved a mo beating from Viloria, Estrada, etc, but he never went down, or backed up.Comment

That was a violent beating
Nica know holds the Interim WBA belt so he can have some home fights in Panama see what happens w/ Koki-Kono , maybe even get a PBC slot if Koki wins that'd be coolComment
